This is a contract-to-hire opportunity designed for someone who wants to move past basic data entry and take ownership of complex accounts within a massive, high-volume operation. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts receivable for multiple entities across the US and Canada.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve complex account exceptions and anomalies within the AR aging report.
- Process customer payments across multiple currencies and methods, including wire transfers, EFT/ACH, and credit cards.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and research to ensure accuracy within the general ledger.
- Liaise with customers and internal operations departments to resolve billing and shipping errors.
- Support the AR Lead with annual account maintenance, credit line reviews, and departmental cleanup projects.
Qualifications
- Atleast 2 years of direct experience in accounts receivable and collections.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment is essential (Agriculture experience is a significant asset).
- Proven experience handling multi-currency transactions and navigating various banking platforms.
- Exposure to large-scale ERP system is highly preferred (Direct knowledge of Syspro is an asset)
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to run queries and manage complex datasets.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in the "why" behind the data and a drive to improve existing processes.
- Strong multi-channel communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and maintain professional correspondence.
